All of us live in dual worlds:The real world and the digital world. Its common to think that these two worlds are at odds with each other; however, we disagree. Our idea? Use mobile devices as tool to interact with the OSU community. Create a way to interconnect the physical and the digital by bringing the device we have with us all the time to the activities that make up our daily lives.Game Design, Interaction Design, User Interface Design2012 -

OSU Design 201: Descriptive and Analytic Drawing for Designers is a course that I instructed as a Graduate Teaching Associate during the Winter 2012 quarter at The Ohio State University.
This course is the first in a series of three foundation design drawing courses (Design 201, 203, & 205). It is intended to prepare the design student in visual thinking, problem solving, and idea communication. The aim of this course is to develop skills and techniques in seeing, perceiving and depicting man-made and natural objects.
Design 201 serves as an introduction to freehand drawing as a skill to communicate characteristics of a subject represented as it pertains to Design. Emphasis on observational drawing as a tool to record, analyze and communicate information about natural and man-made subjects.Academia, Teaching, Drawing2012 -
In 2012, all of The Ohio State University will he transitioning to a semester schedule rather than the current quarter system. Because of this transition, the Department of Design at OSU is undergoing exciting new changes. We are evaluating and updating our core design curriculum so our students learn the new and rapidly changing standards of design and thus graduate as extremely productive members of the professional world.
